Sonia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from the University of the Fraser Valley, and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. She excelled academically, consistently ranking at the top of her class, reflecting her dedication and passion for the law.

Following law school, Sonia gained valuable experience during her articles at a prominent downtown Vancouver law firm, specializing in criminal law and driving law. She has since amassed extensive experience appearing before the British Columbia Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. By focusing her practice on criminal defence and family law, Sonia ensures her clients receive the highest quality representation, tailored to their specific needs.

Gursharan Sidhu completed his undergraduate studies at York University in Toronto, where he majored in Political Science. He later earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. After returning to Canada, he achieved his NCA accreditation and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in November 2023.

Gursharan's primary focus is Criminal Law, where he has successfully defended clients in a wide range of cases, including theft (under/over), robbery, assault (simple, causing bodily harm, or with a weapon), sexual assault, and uttering threats. He also dedicates considerable effort to representing youth clients in criminal proceedings.
In addition to his criminal defense practice, Gursharan has developed expertise in Prison Law. He has represented clients in parole hearings and parole revocation hearings. His experience in this area provides valuable insights into the challenges clients may face if sentenced, including issues related to parole or dangerous offender designations. This complementary knowledge enhances his ability to negotiate plea agreements and advocate effectively during contested sentencing hearings.

Born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Gursharan moved to British Columbia in 2022 after his marriage. He remains actively connected to the community, often engaging in recreational activities such as hiking and exploring local parks with his wife. A former athlete who played soccer, hockey, and basketball, Gursharan now enjoys watching hockey and soccer in his downtime. He is also fluent in Punjabi, which allows him to connect with a broader range of clients, though he humorously notes his reading proficiency in the language is at a beginner's level.

Tasha began her career in retail, working her way up from administration to management over the course of five years. Realizing she wanted to make a more meaningful impact in her community, she ventured into strata management before discovering her true calling as a legal assistant. She finds great fulfillment in helping legal aid clients who may not have the resources to obtain legal assistance otherwise. Every day in this role presents new challenges, and she enjoys the variety and opportunity to make a difference.

Tasha has lived in Abbotsford her entire life and grew up with two younger sisters. Family is incredibly important to her, and she values the time she spends with her loved ones. She currently lives in Abbotsford with her boyfriend, Brandal, and their two-year-old cavapoo, Cruz.

In her spare time, Tasha enjoys reading, with Mary Higgins Clark and Stephen King being her favorite authors. She also loves trying new recipes and playing a wide variety of musical instruments. Her musical journey began with the piano and clarinet, and she has since explored the violin, ukulele, bass clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, guitar, mandolin, and xylophone. Despite this, piano remains her passion, and she still plays it daily.
When she has a few days off, Tasha loves finding new camping spots, especially those near water, as she enjoys swimming.
